I do remember it being the dearest ( I think) ticket in our first championship season. I paid £30.50, £28 + £2.50 on the day extra.

Rovers fans should just give it a blanket ban in protest. But they won't.

It was expensive last time we played there, 35/36 I think. If its too much choose not to go for a week. It's a pain to get to as well.

I think there only charging Leeds Fans £43  to try and either discourage them or profiteer from the large away following.

Interestingly though Ipswich only charged those other trouble causer's  (Millwall) £26 on their first home game of the season.

You can get into f**king Premier League games for that! you could get into a Man City Champions League game for quite a bit less the other season too.

f**king ridiculous if true.

The up are in a unique position geographically isolated, fans travelling in from as afield as Cambridge.

Sadly not it was 36 for Wednesday yesterday hence why the away support wasn't that big.

Trouble is, why should the Ipswich travelling supporters suffer ? It's Ipswich Town FC that dictates the prices and if we reciprocated it makes us no better. Only way to prove a point is bite the bullet and just not go. Ipswich suffer then, and if every away teams fans do it, it will force them to reduce the price eventually.

Whilst I understand what you're getting at, I'm not sure that it matters that much to a club like Ipswich - maybe they feel that with Little or no away support, it increases their chances on the pitch and then they can also offer additional capacity to their own supporters.

Whilst Ipswich are not a massive club, a lot of the bigger clubs (especially premiership ones) would be quite happy taking their TV money and selling out to home fans only.

I just hope the day doesn't come when we play into their hands and find that we dont have an option to watch our team away (unless you pay a subscription and watch in on line / TV).

But they have got to fund Mick McCarthy's supply of Barnsley Bitter and Barnsley Chops.

Some Leeds fan posted a picture of his ticket on the NPower Championship banter page (admin not changed name) on Facebook, so whether it's just because they're playing Leeds or what, I don't know, but it's still ridiculous even if they were playing Chelsea in the cup!

Their adult prices are:
Grade C match: £26
Grade B: £32.50
Grade A: £37

Its an extra £2.50 to buy them on a match day.
