I cannot wait. I genuinely haven't been this excited for a long time.

Copps and new players to come in.

Rob Jones is just my hero.

Saunders proving me and others wrong.

Bring on the blades!!

Just thinking the same. All the ingredients for a cracking atmosphere and a great game.

This is why we love football and why we love DRFC. See you all at the Keepmoat !!

I prefer his brother, Rob, myself. Or is Ron one of the new signings?

Ron Jones? Mmmm, isn't it. Jumpers for goalposts? Marvellous!

Agree with Mush though, Tuesday cannot come quick enough, 2nd against 3rd, let's do them over! Biggest NYD fixture I can remember in a long time.

Agree totally with that Mush.

I just hope we can overcome our home bogey and get the win - what a way to start the New Year that would be.

I can just see it been a scrappy tight game. Then Copps comes on to a similar welcome to Sharp v Palace last year and changes the whole game.

Thank you Mr Saunders for what you have given to Rovers supporters so far this year. Now the owners are backing you, let's make the second half a big one.  On a pessamistic  note, only four points needed for safety.

Why do you feel that you are being pessimistic?          First target every season = get enough points to avoid relegation.

Just heard Deano on the radio, Brown likely not back for Tuesday. Blake and Woods may be fit for the bench.

Can we get a striker on loan or not?

Hume will be back. That gives us Paynter, Hume and Ball definitely fit, with Blake potentially fit. Copps is also a very attack minded player, although not a striker I grant you. No need to go gambling money for this short term problem. Question is whether we need a regular striker longer term?

We're not short of players who know where the onion bag is. Syers was the commentators MOM today and we all know what he is capable of doing.

I suggest he, along with Cotterill, may be very important players to us on Tuesday. They can make the difference.

Syers for me has to start on Tuesday. You look at how poor we were last time out against Cov, and how plodding our midfield was - we go with Keegan and Harper again and we'll get ripped apart. We need someone with an engine who can combat their long ball, someone who gives up an option going forward as well as defending. Hume and Paynter up front with Syers just behind, and Copps on the bench to lift the crowd and team in the 2nd half. I'd be confident that team could do the business.

Cannot wait to see Copps back in the hoops. What a player he can be at this level.

Who's this Copps bloke? Sounds a decent signing. Hope he does well.
