Best ref I’ve seen in a long time, my only criticism would be letting Peterborough players get away with dissent.
Let the game flow a big plus from me

Very much one of the better refs we’ve had at the KMS for a good while

Excellent referee. Let the game flow and played a fantastic advantage for Sadlier’s goal. There were a couple of penalty shouts late on, one at either end which I haven’t seen again, but he was confident in both instances and wasn’t swayed by big appeals from the players/crowd. Praise too for the young West Stand Lino who was also excellent and got just about everything right.

The ref was quite good for most of the game but it was certainly a pen when Gomes went over in the box.

Best we've had this season although I thought his booking of Gomes was very harsh as there was contact (maybe not enough for a pen but not a dive). Then Toney did a much more flamboyant bit of diving and he just waved it away.
Excellent advantage on the Sadlier goal. I believe this chap was slated for promotion to the Championship last season but got knocked back after making a complete Horlicks of a game near the end of the season. Certainly better than most we get at L1.

:that: ... so its a 2 from me which is pretty good as regular "readers" will know

I gave him 4 and it would have been 5 if he hadn’t booked Gomes or had booked Toney.
I was almost in line and thought Gomes was a pen. Toney’s five was far worse.
He is the best ref I have seen in a long while and while trying to let the game flow you could tell that he had seen and recognised an infringement and playing advantage. The west stand Lino also looked far more on the ball than most we get down here and the ref seemed to have confidence in him.

Improved a lot since the execution of a Tackle on Herbie Kane at Chorley
Comments that time about his "misunderstanding" of what constituted "advantage"
