Squad requirements

For me we still need a big lump up top, a proper right back and a centre half who's faster than Butler. At least.

Wright & Anderson are both bigger than Butler - but what he lacks in inches he overcomes in terms of experience

& in terms of a right back - last season I felt for  Niall Mason has he was shoved from pillar to post to plug gaps all over the defence - however having said that he’s made into a good, steady right back because he’s defensively sound and is improving going forward & now looks comfortable crossing the halfway line

He is as good a RB as we could expect to have.

That's how the wife describes me.

Agreed, the lump up front would be a game changer, something we haven't had for a while, help for Marquis would be fantastic, Wilkes is not the answer in my opinion.

James Hanson 6" 4" ex  Bradford , Sheff Utd , we should have got him in the summer., wasted at Wimbledon.
He would be a 20 goal a season in this team.

Anderson has been shite so far, for me.

Are you serious. Well past his best.
No way will he score 20 goals in any League 1 team now. Not a prayer imo.

I live in Bradford and believe me we shouldn't. Immobile on the pitch and not the best by any means off it. He would probably have enjoyed the Tony Adams culture at Arsenal.

I'm not disputing you Red, because I wasn't there yesterday, but GM described his performance as "very good".

I think we need the opposite of a big lump up front as marquis can play that role. We need someone who can stick the ball in the net. A billy Sharp style striker to play along side marquis.

This. Not sure if we still do but we had the highest xG in the league, which means we're getting in the positions and the chances, we just need someone to convert them.

I put Ganguillet as a suggestion before Blackpool resigned him before the start of the season, rumour had it he was going to South Africa.
Tranmere have a decent defensive midfielder/ defender.
