I see Big Tom Anderson made it into team of the week. He’s impressed lately. Well done Tom 👍

If Tom keeps on performing as he has been doing the Joe Wright has a long wait to get back into the team.

Also, the expression on his face after that goal at PNE was priceless.

Aren't we lucky to have 2 young centre backs like Joe and Tom.

Defence is looking a lot more solid lately. There must be some good work going on behind the scenes. It’s been a real pleasure watching the team 👍⚽️

I've said it before. Our great run coincided with Tom and lawler coming into the side,  plus Tommy Rowe making his comeback with the late winner v Wimbledon.  Even tho he hasn't made the first 11 yet,, his sheer presence on the bench is inspiring others to keep performing to high levels.

Anderson is the perfect replacement for butler long term. Him and wright have the makings of a great centre back pairing for years to come.

Yep. A superb performance from him. Closed them down relentlessly. Never misplaced a pass when he had the ball. He's going to be a Very Important Player for us.

He was my MoM too. Although good performances were everywhere he really caught the eye for his work rate.

It's not at all what I expected from Crawford. I thought he was going to be a lightweight skill player. But with the way we set up, he's crucial in doing the heavy shifting. Hope he stays fit.

BST
I just read down to the bottom of the thread and was going to write more or less what you have done.
He looked like a lightweight to me too in his earlier appearances but has improved immensely.
