3rd highest attendance in the league today.
Weather was shit.
I thought 6400 was a decent attendance, and is more than I expected for this season.

It's a football match.... get some perspective

I don't normally resort to this sort of insult, but, you really are a knob of the highest order.

The sooner you loose your Internet connection the better.

So you weren't there but are insulting the attendance and the people of Doncaster? Accept that the whole population of Doncaster are not bothered about football. Accept that a lot follow other teams. I know plenty in Mexborough and Conisborough who have jumped on the Rotherham bandwagon this season.

Sheffield has a population going into million figures

Yet sheff utd and sheff weds dont even between them make 10%

Numerous reasons

People on holiday
Arm chair fans
Finances dictating attendance, remember we have had 2 home games this week
Etc

Actually the population of Doncaster is officially over 300k now.

What attendance would be acceptable to you Norfolk? 10k? 20k?
At the end of the day we are an average League One club and have average League One attendances. End of story.

Sheffield's population is 552k. They do pretty well percentage wise to say there are two clubs based there.

Because they aren't interested. You cannot force people to do something they don't want to do.

You know the answers Norfolk so why ask the same question. The vast majority of football fans in Doncaster follow other clubs. Namely the Sheffield clubs, Leeds, Rotherham, Man Utd, etc etc. This has always been the case and has never changed. Mainly due to our lowly performance in the 80s and nineties.

All we can do is try and keep the new generation of football fans, however the club failed to capitalise on the growing support and keep them there with it's bizarre ticketing policies and lack of effective marketing.

End of debate.

the DN postcode extends from Donny to Cleethorpes  and all points inbetween including Scunny who have a team in the same league, Grimsby who've dropped down a bit Gainsboro .....Donny is one of the largest metropolitn boroughs.............oh I really can't be arsed   :byebye:

Laughable compared to what though? Certainly not to other League One crowds. In terms of support this is our level. We are not a Championship sized club and never will be.

The Metropolitan Borough doesn;t include those places though. That is just the post code area. Like Mexboro has a Sheffield post code but is actually in Doncaster.

In League One? Where even Coventry, a club from a bigger place, with a far bigger history than ours are only just getting that number?
