I would like to see that again on the FL show, it came off the Keeper to syers, so unless he was offside when the first shot came in, which I doubt very much, it was a legal goal and yet again the officials are totally incompetent!

I was thinking the same at the time. Somehow I don't think it will show it on the FL show but I'll be looking for it on the highlights on rovers player.

Well we'll have to see. Usually if it's controversial it's not shown as you said, so that's normally a good gauge. If they don't show it then it was legit, haha.

Syers just tweeted that it was never offside.

Have to say I thought it was never offside but I didn't have the best view of it so I didn't want to judge too strongly. I'll be keeping an eye out for it tonight.

Seemed a terrible decision to me. I actually thought the Lino was flagging because he thought the ball had gone out before it was put in the net which in itself was a physical impossibility.

The Beeb did mention it in their match report (although apparently it was Cotterill who scored it, BBC match reports at their finest there) so maybe it will get shown tonight.

Absolutely nothing wrong with it at all.
Yet again we've been cheated by the officials.

I was nowhere near in line with it, but it seemed an odd call. Presumably Syers was in an offside position when Bennett had the shot which the keeper parried, although Syers seemed to me to run a long way to get to the ball.
I thought the East Stand lino was very quick to flag throughout the game and I did wonder it he was sometimes flagging based on the position of the player when he received the ball, not when the ball was played (which is totally incorrect, of course).
Sky usually do a couple of minutes of highlights on their site so I'll have a look on there as I'd love to see that incident again.
