Will sign for a top ten premier team in 5 years ...

My prediction never seen anyone as good as this lad since Ian Snodin

Position? I will get shot down for this but I think Midfield!?!?

Love to see him CM....

Awareness/ Speed/ Anticipation/ passing

Better than Paul Green Norfolk? He WAS a central midfielder after all (though ironically found himself played at full back at times!).

Don't think we need to interfere with his development by shoving him in midfield, players can get lost easily there . Keep him at left back, it's his position and we keep him doing what he does best. Push comes to shove he can play on the left of midfield to give us something a bit different to Bennett.

Don't know why DS doesn't start him!

Apparently "because he's only 18" he can't play  :headbang:

He's got the pace of a winger. Not strong enough to be CM. We'll see though. Depends how he develops physically.

I don't understand it either. Awareness in defence and pace and crossing ability going forward, he's a textbook left back. Don't see what he'd bring to our engine room at all.

He should definitely start, no question. He changed the game when he came on and his contribution led to the goal.

He's a left back but surely we have the two best left backs in the league?

I`ll go with that assessment as well, what`s your old man think to him then?

Without looking at other league 1 teams LB's... Yes, without a doubt!

It's just how it happens isn't it... We bring through a player that looks class, only for him to be in a position that we already have a superb player in

Same with England. We swap and change goalies for years, then a class youngster (potential world class) in Jack Butland comes along... Only for us to have a young already world class goalkeeper in the squad!

Time already for Husband to do a Gareth Bale and convert to a winger? He's got the touch and delivery thats for sure. It's a good headache to have with our two outstanding LB's  - Spurr is as good as we've had IMO but Husband needs game time too and I'm loathed to break up the twin towers....

In fairness Saunders has brought through a few young full backs in the past who have gone on to play in the Premier league.
