Just seen Andy Williams in Rhodes. Has anyone else seen any of the boys on holiday?

Is it that one next to Cooplands or the one down the other end of Finkle Street near where the Post Office used to be? not been in Rhodes for years.
Back in the 60s if we were working in on of the Darley's pubs we'd go to a butchers down Finkle St. for a pork pie or pasty. They were to die for.

My first job when an apprentice at the shipyard was to go for the hot pork pies complete with the clear runny gravy this before the shop opened. I once witnessed a cat running over a tray of cooling pies, said didn't reveal the details when back at the yard but I gave it a miss.I fully understand that this is not football but it's great to reminisce while waiting for the signings to be revealed.
