I think its great for the blades fans to unite behind Billy.  He and his family are lifelong Blades fans and whoever he currently plays for he will always be a Blade.

As someone stated however, recent events should completely override football rivalries.  i am proud that seems to be the case with many fans from all different clubs all showing support for billy and his family.

I think you could start a thread on any subject, however apparently uncontroversial, on a footy forum (this one included) and end up with rancour, abuse and recriminations.

There's a PhD. thesis out there waiting to be written on this phenomenon.
