Diouf..

Colosal. Was popping up everywhere and links brilliantly with Billy. Having Stock in the middle was the key though. Great proformance but we just need to learn how to win and close games out. Well done to the 260 of us that we're there. Follow me on twitter as well. My match updates are the best there are until my battery starts to die.

Far too good for the Championship, or should we keep saying he`s crap to scare any teams thinking of taking a punt off?

He's seems a fantastic foil for Billy and visa versa. While ever the opposition are watching one, the other given the opportunity will bang in the goals. Both fully fit, injury free and playing as a pair they could be immense in this league. Sadly we may have to salivate (pun not intentional) over their pairing as much as we can over the next few months as we're unlikely to see them together for long.

On the other hand, and I know this may sound naive but not totally out of the question, he could fcuking love it here and stay for quite a bit.

He did say he liked a challenge, and we can give him just that. Not quite ready to crack out the p word just yet though..

Me and Steve ( Berks Rover)...we told JR to go for it when he asked us at the Palace game.... told him to stop messing about and get it sorted...pronto. We can be so tough when we want to be...
We also do on-line advice for carpets and curtains....

It will be a case of enjoying it while we can, for sure, but if this is the shape of things to come under this new set-up then watch us steam up this division sharpish.  If Diouf does end up getting snapped up after 3 months, that can only be encouragement to other players to come and do the same thing with us.  Billy must be happy having a partner in crime of such calibre.

Next stop, 6' 4\" defensive midfielder.

Both quality players and we can enjoy them at least for now. Still need keeper, central defender (as stated earlier) and a quality midfielder but ...........we are getting there. :)

Seems to me to be the touch of class and clinical finishing we needed.  Great partner for BS too.  Diouf is an intelligent player and will lay on as many as he scores.

Happy today :)

apparently he had a good season in 2002 tho somebody posted on here recently - maybe if he fancies staying with us all season he can look forward to a play-off final at Wembley?

This thread has just got me thinking, has there ever been a strike partnership in the entire history of the game more and less popular with the general sporting public than those two?

I can't remember a player as universally popular as Billy has been this week, and as for Diouf....
