Toad brewery pre-match
« on October 22, 2010, 10:51:31 am by WSBBA_Ben »
Me & our lass decided to sample the delights of the Cask Corner (Dive bar) last night; the beer selection is unreal and I would bet it won't be rivalled in the area.

I've got a taste for the what Toad Brewery have to offer and am aware that they open up pre-match - do you have to be a member to drink at the brewery? Do they do food? What are you talking for a pint? I usually drink in the Park Hotel but feel that the love hasn't been put in to the beer of late so fancy a change. Any help welcome.

We usualy go into the Hyde Park Club pre-match Geoff and Jill the Stewards are Rovers fans and everyone is welcome. She is also an agent for the Rovers lottery if you want to join.

No its open to anyone!! Beautiful beer at reasonable prices, approx £2.50 a pint I think, they now have food available as well (Burgers, Pies & Sausage Sandwiches), and all the football banter before the big game that you could want, had Ashes to Glory on the tele before the game on Tuesday!! Quality!!

f in HELL I have died (massively prematurely) and gone to heaven

I now CANT WAIT for tomorrow evening. F... the game its The Toad for me

It sounds brilliant and could surely only be improved by showing Rovers v Daggers at Stoke on a continuous loop

See you there fellow VSC posters and if you see someone 6 feet 5 - with beard - and old enough to be your dad / grandad * (select one)- say hello cos it WILL be me  :scarf:

I made my first trip to the Toad yesterday and was mightily impressed. the Zigger Zagger blonde ale is deliciously moreish, priced reasonably at £2.70 (much cheaper and far, far better than the shit on the concourse). Decent burgers etc. at good prices, good atmosphere; the place is a new pre-match routine for me now.

Are children welcome? And if they are, do they serve Fruit Shoots?

I've been talked into taking the 4 year old step daughter to the Swansea game. I've no idea what to expect!
