Couldn't understand what the hell was happening today when I couldn't see any racing  at Donny yet it was on tomorrow --  (yes I know ITV doesnt show the first day anymore) I thought for a minute we were getting short measures only a 3 day meeting but alas no

Executives at Doncaster have unveiled plans to incorporate Sunday into the four-day St Leger meeting in 2023, in a move they hope will appeal to racegoers.

The festival, which starts on September 7 this year, is traditionally run from Wednesday to Saturday but, while the Cazoo St Leger will remain in its current Saturday spot, the meeting is set to start a day later on Thursday and conclude on Sunday from next year.


Presumably non locals were also not aware of this shakeup ?

I used to like going on the Wednesday. Quieter and few drunken women falling about.
Can't go Sunday so Friday only for me as Leger day is a nightmare.
