I don't claim to have any inside knowledge but the facts are mounting up that the deal I all but agreed and will be rubber stamped today.

* meet the owners meeting tonight after a board meeting today, why would this happen three day before the season start? Can't remember dick and terry ever wanting to be in the limelight in this was.
* why a Guineans tent at the game, neve had one before so can't be just a coincide given the rumours of an Irish takeover.
* Quinn reporting on twitter of a Irish/donny takeover.
* deals agreed left, right and centre for players awaiting rubber stamping.

Loads of other talk of major players being in town.

Mark my words the deal is done but the signing.

Wellens said on radio Sheffield this morning that he wont sign for rovers till the irish deal is agreed, and he said that could be the middle of next week.

I think that it might be that someone's read the "quote" from Wellens where he says something along the lines of "I won't be signing unless the investment comes in" and decided, as they have heard that the deal isn't done, that Wellens won't be signing. And then posted it on Facebook...
