think the title say it all :suicide:
what does this say about saturdays performance ?
-
They have players who can take chances.
-
Maybe Shrewsbury are inconsistent

Yep

Maybe Tranmere just picked a team that made Shrewsbury worry about them.

But we had enough chances to have least got draw or even won the game. Yes DM may have made mistakes but when chosen players don’t take chances then it’s the chosen team.
-
We ain't consistent enough I'm afraid
-
I agree that we don't take our chances steve and I have noticed it is your crusade.
however we are probably no worse than most sides in this.
We have plenty of close shaves and lucky escapes ourselves.
-
Thanks to John Marquis ( he has just put Pompey 2-1 up) we are now eight points out of the top six as things stand.
With only 12 games to go it is looking more and more unlikely that we can get up there.
-
Shrewsbury have now scored 2 .
-
Tranmere now in the deep end at Shrewsbury.
Time to put a sub on.
-
Tranmere won 3-2.
I see that the ref at Sunderland gave them seven minutes of added on time, then blew the final whistle immediately after they levelled against Fleetwood.

A ref that wasn’t scared of Joey Barton. Pity we didn’t get that ref at Fleetwood.

I was thinking more likely that the ref had big club syndrome.

We needed to score first against Shrewsbury. That would have made it a completely different ball game.
-
We’re still in 11th spot though & a win on Saturday could push us up to 10th if other results go for us.
-
Think the table will be a lot clearer in 4 or 5 games we can only afford to lose or draw 3 games at most imo we need to pressure the top 6 to hope one or 2 start to crack
-
The top six or seven seem to be gathering pace and we can’t keep up.
No way will we win nine of the remaining twelve games.
I hope I am wrong......but I won’t be.
-
We’re not good enough to go up, we’re not ready to go up.
Next season, when DM’s had a full close season to bring in players, we must be well placed in that top six throughout the season if not pushing for an automatic spot.
Otherwise ‘the hype’ starts to become tedious.
