More responsibility again on Copps shoulders to try and knit things together. I hope Richards can get up to speed quickly to help him and Gomes.

Looking at the team we need a striker, another player for attacking front 3,
defensive midfield ( two if Whiteman goes) they are the priorities. Then DM wants a third keeper.

Unless it’s a back 3 with someone else at left wing back. Taylor, Gomes, Richards?
Would be very strange if so but I don’t understand why DM prefers John to Amos at left back.

It would seem the consensus is pretty unanimous on this forum that John is not comfortable as a left back.
Think this is the only gripe I had with DM last season.

Gomes isn’t the answer in midfield. Gives the ball away more than he finds a man with it.
