Liam is one of those deceptive players, looks a bit scruffy but has some intelligence about him. Not blessed with great pace but can poke a ball past his marker when it looks lost. He works hard, looks like he's knackered but keeps going. Can pick a pass, is progressive and will turn up in scoring positions. On the downside, he's not got the stature or pace for an out and out striker but he put Middleton to shame last night with his willingness to move, find space and get stuck in. Occasionally gets knocked off the ball but generally gets back up and has another go!

Thought he did well yesterday. Good movement and some decent passes.
