Amazing stuff, Colchester looked good in that first half and i was a bit nervous but the mighty reds came through again. When was the last time we scored 4 goals 3 games in a row?

I thought the Accy match was a banana skin. It wasn't.
I thought the run would come to an end against barrow. It didn't.
And I thought we'd get a point at Colchester. We didn't.

Not only have we equaled the all time record wins on the bounce but also:
Scored 4 goals in 3 consecutive league games for only the third time ever (the other two being in 1938-39 and 1946-47
We have already scored 89 goals in all competitions this season. This has only been beaten 10 times before, and only twice this century - in McCann's last season (104) and Fergie's FL2 promotion season (92)
With maybe even as many as 4 matches to go we could go possibly much higher (only 4 seasons over 93 goals). Given where we were in February, absolutely mind boggling. :scarf: :scarf:

More than anyone could ever ask for.
Most would of been happy with 22nd place after our poor start, to now be 5th, just unbelievable.

No superlatives left to describe this. I am crossing everything we beat Gillingham, set a new bar for the club and then get Crewe in the playoffs, second leg at home.

Just on the way home. For me tonight we beat a team that is far better than relegation fodder without being spectacular. After they scored we won the game in both boxes comfortably. We keep showing up. Love this team.

I’m so disappointed the song I’ve been singing all week in the shower won’t get an airing at Crewe. Maybe I jinxed it but at least the sentiment still stands.
