Still no word?
« on April 19, 2012, 08:22:15 am by 5minstogo »
Have I missed it or has there been any word from the club about Diouf?

Is he still injured

Is the "investigation" complete?

Is any action being taken about his alleged involvement in the weekends assault?

Untouchable? Looks that way.

Saunders did say that he didn't expect Diouf to be fit to play again this season. Looks like they're simply going to allow his contract to come to a natural end.

Firstly, is it a club's place to get involved?

Secondly, given there's a police investigation they cannot comment on it.

Seems to me it's best just to let his contract expire and release him.

Under any normal circumstances I would at least expect the club to acknowledge it and then say no further comment would be made pending police investigation.  Just ignoring it sends the wrong signals.
