I would put 50 mill aside for the rovers. 40 mill would still be more than enough for me. Funny you should post that as i have just been thinking about the same thing. Would put in the same as Jr each year and maybe push the boat out to get us back up.

For me i'd have 2 options.

Option 1... Dont give them a penny of it (Ok, just season tickets etc.).

Option 2... Buy the club and show the board exactly what ambition is!

if i had it... id put as much money in as needed for

buying the stadium from the council
buying and/or improving the training ground to be a premiership one
buy 12500/13,000 season tickets and figure out some way to give them to fans at no cost
give deno a bit of pocket money for a few players to get us back to the championship..

so all in all id say 50/60mill?

i think me and the family could still get by on 32 mill plus interest ;)

I would have T641 Seat ripped out so my legs would fit in .... and buy U641 & T641 Season Tickets for the Dons so the Seat could stay out

this is the trouble with football per se

incredibly wealthy people inject huge amounts of money into a particular club and create an uneven playing field which encourages other clubs to overstretch their budgets in order to compete

and then the administrators walk in

if I win the £90m I'll be investing it into making people's life opportunities better in the uk and elsewhere in the world - ie. rewarding the needy and deserving, not the overpaid

I'd get the best youth set up around and link with Donny College and help turn the Town around....and I'd get Billy back.

I would do the above and get Billy and Greeny back........money talks and btw I would buy a couple of centre backs a keeper of the highest calibre.

I might stretch to a season ticket this year if I had that kind of money.

The problem with investing to make tickets cheaper, what happens next year when someone who follows the Rovers don't win the Euromillions? As pointed out earlier it is this kind of action in the past (people just throwing money at clubs) that lead to increasing administration and the ruining the integrity of the game.

I think I would put as much as physically possible into the VSC, the club receive money by selling more shares and the fans can gain a bigger shareholding to secure the clubs future when JR decides to step down, everybody wins.
