Can we hear the names that were rumoured to be involved in the takeover.

Is it over? Is it?

JR said it was over last year...

We still haven't heard a firm commitment from the current owners... Was TB confident JR would fail, or did he want out? What's DW's feelings on the matter?

One way or the other, I fear this is just the beginning of the beginning. Or something.

It would be nice to know the whole story though, otherwise it'll still rumble on and on...

I would not be surprised to see a tweet

"BREAKING: The takeover is back ON according to sources close to JR"

Anonymous sources will tell selected people it's a done deal. ;)

Im not bothered who was involved it looks dead now. I'd like a statement from TB and DW explaining their abitions and an indication of the size of the budget. I can't see it being 2m like people were saying

I'd imagine we have to wait until at least Monday for an official statement from the club

Seriously? you can't possibly think that's a good idea considering the current shape of the squad?

That's another thing that makes little sense. JR says he has assets, but he then says he hasn't got 5m in the bank. If he has assets, why not pool them all together and show the FL that he has the readies instead of spontaneously combusting on the radio?

Hard not to think there's more to it than that.

...there'll probably be a lawyers bill of at least £100k that will be passed on to the club. Cash that would otherwise have gone on a decent centre-half.

I think each and everyone of us deserves an explanation from all parties

I guess his "Assets" are mainly property and "Cars" and "Train Sets", hard to get shut of at short notice to show 5 million.

I know that, and we'll probably get spun another yarn, which looks like it started with JR's and LT's conflicting soundbites yesterday

I don't see why. If anyone is going to get bills sent to them for not keeping to their end of a deal it'll be JR, surely?

I figured that, Wild Rover. Thing is - and kind of my point - train sets, cars and houses do not a League One Champions team buy...
