Whilst I appreciate the humour Lee, I would need to clarify our actual stance before people accept this as factual.

We have no desire to be owners of DRFC. However if we have to pick up the reigns through some catastrophic failure of ownership, i.e. Portsmouth or similar, then we are in the right place to do so. Meanwhile we shall continue working in partnership with the owners and management staff to deliver a football club that takes its position and role as a community based club seriously.

Joking aside, my personal opinion is that it should be the objective of the trust to hold a majority of shares (Or a controlling stake, whichever is feasible) in the football club.

However I respect that the aims and objectives of the trust are decided by the members via the elected representatives.
