Apart from 2 seasons ago when was the last time we won there,I've seen us play at both their grounds ,Fellows Park and the Bescot ,but can't remember seeing a win at either . Was there when drew 1-1 ,Pricey scored and was there when Brabin got sent off for showing his arse Sumo style. Also went when Merson was player manager,he looked total quality, his passing and vision was brilliant

Loss as well as we have played last couple of games I think it could be a game too far. Would be very happy to be wrong as its last game for a while

We won at Bescot 3-1 in the early nineties. Rankine ran the show. Useless fact also was that game was the only time ever that the infamous Graham Poll was in charge for a Rovers match.

He was. Also remember Merse having a bit of laugh with our fans by moving a corner kick ten metres in.....unsurprisingly not noticed by ref or lino until he started his run up

Well done to Scaley back rover and RedRover45 your pessimism proved to be well founded amongst all the optimism!

Good luck with your Glanford park forecasts....

None taken mate. This competition is what we think is going to happen based on the head, not what we want to happen based in the heart.

With you there 100%! I knew by your previous message to scaley that you're going with head over heart! Strangely enough, in my life, work and most other things I'm very much a logical, common sense head over heart person. When it comes to rovers it's completely the opposite! I always try to look on the bright side however difficult it gets at times!

As scaley said, I hope at least one of you gets it right - a defeat is unthinkable! If the worst happens then I will give this forum a miss for a few days or everything might just turn black, Johnny, black!!!!!

Can see this ending up as a 1-1 draw. Just hope we put in a better performance.
