He's still a Premier League referee but I think he's had a couple of off-key performances lately.

Not a big favourite of mine, but I've often thought he was a bit of a "homer."

It certainly wasn't Lee Mason. Reports suggest that Darren Handley, the original 4th official, was the referee.

I read somewhere that one of the linos had to be replaced at half time due to injury.

That's true. The guy on the mic put out an announcement for any trained match officials to head to the tunnel, and emphasised that it wasn't a windup.
