Next though Blatter is doing a Press Conference - I for one have no interest in anything he has to say. Surely most people had their suspicions about his actions / inactions for years and those views have been pretty much vindicated by this announcement

It will have to change. The next steps will bring arrests and prosecutions along with the withdrawing of the award of the world cup to Qatar once it's proven it was awarded on bribes.

As far as Blatter goes, I hope they let the British investigative reporter who's been after him for years, put the cuffs on him. Would be a rather fitting end to Blatters days as a free man!

Dissolve FIFA please Swiss government .. It  is not a nation nor a religion but a corrupt institution that needs to be wiped off the board  The individual regional institutions like UEFA also lose their mandate and we presumably default down  to individual nation level . So we can start again from scratch.

Totally agree, dissolve FIFA and start again from scratch. If they don't do that then all the major soccer nations should resign. Then FIFA would become totally impotent
