₤29m is not to be sniffed at aye?

''Revealed: Tory peer Michelle Mone secretly received £29m from ‘VIP lane’ PPE firm''

https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2022/nov/23/revealed-tory-peer-michelle-mone-secretly-received-29m-from-vip-lane-ppe-firm

And this from a scheme that the government denied even existed at the time.

Imagine if Labour had won in 2019 and had overseen a corrupt public purchasing process whereby a Labour peer had pocketed £29m.

Just close your eyes and imagine the response.

Words fail me.
These people are disgusting greed driven tw*ts.
To think that untold millions of our money is just spaffed on these corrupt b**tards, by a corrupt government beggars belief.

Words must fail a lot of people, so much so that they can't bring themselves to comment.

The GLP keeps battling away to get at the truth ..............

''We have just heard that the Supreme Court has given us permission for our appeal to be heard in regards to the service error made by external solicitors in one of our cases. The case relates to £100m+ worth of public contracts and evidence that Ministers and an ex-adviser to the Prime Minister actively helped favoured bidders to win the contracts''

You do have to pinch yourself don't you? To make sure you're awake when you're reading this.

I a firm defender of democracy, but my gut reaction is that this woman wants dragging outside and putting in the stocks. Instead, after profiteering from COVID spending that our grandkids will be paying for, she's in the House of Lords, passing laws.

This is all that's left of the Tory party. No economic ideas. No social philosophy. Just xenophobia on one hand and elevated f**king spivs on the other. With a bunch of non-entities in between them trying to hold it all together.

''Gove under pressure to explain role in PPE deals for Mone-linked firm
Minister’s insistence he referred all offers to civil service channels appears at odds with previously released email correspondence''

What is that bit about lies and memory?

Sorry, mate, I thought you meant on this forum.

However, with Labour on a 20 odd point lead in the polls, I don't think there's that many who intend voting Tory next time.
