I quite fancy 'Phonics, tried to get tickets for their Troxy gig in December but it clashed with the Pogues... My mate saw them in Manchester in Dec & said they were no where near as good as in previous years that he had seen them - still, if they are showcasing new material you would think it would be semi decent.

Sorry I don't we got ours in the pre-sale.  I've seen them in the seats before at Nottingham (the gig we got stuck in snow for a night on the way home), it's actually not a bad place to be, looks awesome when the floor goes mental.

How do I get them in the presale, Jenny.  It would be much more convenient for me to get them today than on Friday.

You had to pre-order a copy of the new album by 3pm yesterday which then gave you access to the pre-sale. Pre-sale sold out pretty much straight away though....

We had all kinds of trauma, I still need to get tickets for Manchester on Fri, not looking forward to it!

Manchester Academy - Leeds is on the same night as Biffy.

Looks like the 28th is sold out but still tickets on the 27th, it is probably the one that I am looking forward to the most, they were absolutely awesome in Paris back in November. And I have the biggest girl crush on Brian Fallon. Ever.

Jenny, you might have seen this, but if not retire somewhere quiet with your laptop for a couple of hours and enjoy.....

I watched it live at 3am and enjoyed every minute.  I also have the whole gig as MP3s if you want them.

Me too. Always do an excellent show. Gingers acoustic shows are also excellent!

I have seen bits and pieces from it, but never the full set - I find it bizarre watching him whilst he isn't wearing a white Tshirt!!

I will be spending the next few hours listening to it at work... The MP3s would be awesome!

Awesome.

Very much enjoying it, most of the time the stories he tells are actually better than his music!!

I was at the Tunbridge Wells gig a few weeks ago (which was ace) and his Kylie story was hilarious, I recommend you watch:

Did you book a travelodge Rob?

I am happy that Jim Lockey has rearranged the northern dates so will now get to see them in Leeds too :)

I went to this on Saturday:

http://121212.org.uk/event.htm

Was awesome, totally not my normal gig but Shaun Buswell did such an amazing job, not only to get the orchestra together but write music for them too, was pretty special.

Although it did make me realise that Level 3 at Shepherds Bush is shite and with that in mind, now selling my Jake Bugg tickets and hoping to get some for the Airbourne Toxic Event instead (but its sold out atm!)

When The Courteeners released their first album 'St.Jude' I couldn't stop listening, and too this day I think it is on of the best albums I've listened too. Their second album 'Falcon' was a decent follow up, not as good, but every track still worth a listen.

I've seen them twice in Manchester and both times the performance and Liam Fray's voice and frontmanship was amazing! Their third album 'Anna' is released 13/02/13 and I cannot wait!  :)

I've got their third album and thought it was a huge let down. Maybe it will improve on further listens!
