Wouldn't be surprised if he ends up been the captain of the development squad, be interesting to see how he develops and if he ends up been part of the first team squad much through the season ahead because I still expect another 1 possibly 2 cb's to come in who are more than capable and proven at championship level.

If you believe all the doom-mongers on here, he'll be starting in the 3rd of August.

In goal.

Having seen the lad in the friendlies I don't think he wouldn't let us down if he did start on 3rd August.

We do appear to be bringing in a decent set of young players. Hopefully - and this isn't a dig - we can bring in some first-teamers as well.

Assuming our targets come off, I am quite hopeful that we'll do alright this season, and beyond that.

We've had some cracking players from Utd over recent years.

Gary Woods, Reece Brown...

It seems our work is done for the day...

As far as I'm aware, that's business done for Rovers as far as today is concerned #drfc

Still, TWO in ONE day - can't complain.

One for the future?
Has only played one league game (for Cheltenham I think) so unlikely to be straight in.

One thing I can say: 'Lock up yer daughters!!'

Although not a direct acquisition, we could chuck him in the mixer for Utd Youth Team products, along with Mr Wellens.

Woods, Brown, Wilson, Wellens, McCullough. They'd walk the Yorkshire Masters.

Have to say my 1st impression was who is this little bruiser, but he looks as though he can play a bit! Good signing for the starting 11 IMHO

Why use him for the 1st team when we already have a capable defender in wakefield who is from Donny and needs 1st team games ? He should have the edge as he's already played more competitive football than McCullough. Next season should see them both playing together in the 1st team as they are both better than Jones and McCoombe

IMO McCombe is just a bit 'short' of what we expect of a Championship CB. Now you could say the same about Jones to a degree but you need someone who's more of a reader of a game and will be there to tidy up, block, anticipate, pass etc etc.

Not seen McCullough but my learned friends seem to think he's got those qualities.
