Berge is absolute class, our midfield is nonexistent and we’ve little upfront, I know it’s a friendly but Hiwula is very disappointing, zero movement

Some decent bits of play but the midfield is being broken apart far too easily. First time I've seen reed play in there, disappointed so far.

Thought the same about Hiwula. Runs (slowly) into players. Doesn’t appear to be a pro footballer.

The way I’ve viewed that first half is different manager, different players but the same issues, zero movement upfront and build up far too slow plus we look very lightweight in midfield. Yes it’s pre season and the result doesn’t matter but I’m not seeing any creativity or reason to be excited or optimistic

Chalk and cheese to last Friday where I thought we were largely excellent with the ball. We look bloody knackered tonight.

Back four look yards off pace. Two centre backs look ok on the ball when in possession but easily cut out on through balls. Rowe way too far up the pitch to track back. Midfield not much understanding between them and little imagination up front. Yes, Blunts have a decent side out but Wellens really has his work cut out to string things together. The team really do look like strangers. Understandable with the lack of training together but the season is nearly upon us so let’s hope things improve fairly soon.

Yeah, there won’t be a team in L1 that is anywhere near as good as Sheff Utd.

Can we even fill a team and bench with out trialists ? Bit worrying to say the money as run out as we are 3 or 4 players short at minimum

by chance just logged on here and just thought a positive e then saw your post wednesday never loan players to Rovers (can anyone remember any)

sheff united have been very good to rovers loaning players over the years

so maybe they might loan one of their youngsters

the list of players that started at united and went on to play in the premiership is ridiculous

This has been pretty much the Blades XI to be fair. We are playing a decent side but have zero fluidity or shape.

it's definitely worrying, you would like to play your final friendly with your 1st 11 and bench but think we might be miles off
