Some of the worst ways to support players can be found on this site.
I agree with you but if you have a striker who cannot do the basics then he deserves criticism.
I was desperately hoping that there was actually a player in there somewhere ( Bogle ) but it is not evident in pre season imo.

Have faith!

According to his Solihull Moors team-mate Darren Byfield, speaking in 2014, "he can dribble, hold the ball up, scores headers, scores with his right foot, scores with his left foot. He's got it all."

Must have been a different player in a rovers kit last season and in the friendly games to he Solihull player.

I support the team not the players. They come and go.

But the players are the team

It's funny how when players do well on the pitch and score a goal, the cheers are just as loud and just as passionate!

There have been hundreds of players who don't quite warm to the crowd for various reasons but as long as they wear the shirt, they should be encouraged and not criticised for the sake of it.

I can't say I've been enthralled with what he’s contributed so far but as previously mentioned, the service to him around the box has been poor overall! Even Richie has said the same so if we can improve in that area he might start to produce.

A posted this a while ago, but it is worth repeating about Bogle.

He has scored a total of 114 league goals in his career. 78 of these have been in non-league (and the majority of these, 65 at Conference North level). So around 70 per cent of all his league goals ever scored have been in non league and nearly 60 per cent of all his league goals ever scored have been in the semi pro game.

It gets even tougher though. He has only ever scored 17 league goals at League One level or above. That's 17 in 97 games at League One level or above, 1 in 5.7. That unscientific average would deliver 8 league goals if he played a 46 game season. Not so bad.

However, the most games he has managed in the same season for the same club outside of non league is 27, back in the 2016/17 season.

Now this season could be the season that he comes good and Richie could be the guy to get him playing. The evidence for this happening is thin though when you look where he has played his games and where he has scored his goals.

Lots of ifs buts and maybe his record last year speaks for itself.
