Started brightly then the ref decided to make the game about him. Got scrappy after that until Rowe let fly hit the bar only for it to hit the diving keeper on his back and cannon in. From the restart Blackpool had the ball 30 yards out and their player just let fly with a screamer no chance for Lawlor. Just around injury time a good piece of play led to a header being cleared off the line only for the ball to be played back in and Marquis scoring with an overhead kick. Deserve to be in the lead, Blackpool are being niggly and the Ref is the usual tripe

Rovers are 4 - 0 up on the corner count at half time ,for anyone that's interested.
For some reason I find if we are well up on the corner count it type of settles me in close games ,but it's not a fool proof method ask Leeds utd.

All over. A point but we can't be happy with that. Three goals and three almost immediate replies. Guilty of backing off for two of those goals.
The officials failed to punish Blackpool's incessant delaying of the game. Their black player with the beard could have been off for serial offences...
Alfie May has come on leaps and bounds. He's a very intelligent instinctive player.
Tommy Rowe and Matty Blair in my view below par.
Marquis - great goal and his work rate is phenomenal.
Blackpool - I would hate to watch them every week. Unattractive.

Positive gains from the game it's the 3rd game on the bounce rovers have netted 3 goals and may scored again after been brought on.
I will wait for the stewards inquiry on our defensive play today.

That's how I see it too, NOF. Lots of positives and sometimes you just can't stop the opposition scoring screamers. Fergus knows where we need to work on tightening up now.

I don't think we were anywhere near our best today.
The opposition were a decent enough side.
Three stunning shots for three of the goals and defensive errors leading to our second and third goals.
Very poor officials contributed to a scrappy game.
