Calling all South Standers. On Tuesday night, in an attempt to create some team work between the clubs two Barmy Armys, we'd like to try the old 'away from home' classic:

As it carrys on people might catch on; it also gives both sides the awareness to continue songs from the other stands on....

Well the ball now needs to start rolling with the club. We need a block of seats together to get the effect, which might mean having to shuffle people about, but we're more than happy to move if it means 300/400 singers all in one area.

It won't happen this season though, so in the mean time, I hope people take up the suggestion.

the mexican wave must be the worts thing ever intoduced to terrace or seastin culture at the football.

best ever block i saw in the mexican wave was out in slovakia for the england game where it started off in the slovak end went all way round the ground to away end 'missed not one but two full sections' of england lads

then back onto the slovaks and arround rest of ground

to where there was about 20 of us stood at bottom corner of their end and all stand/terrace went up apart from us 20 england

'dont facking do mexican waves me old son' some cockney chipped out

was funny at the time but not 5mins later when the slovaks started raining
fisty cuffs down on us all left/right/centre

fat lips all round hence to say and never diss the mexican wave again....'my arse'
