They have the third best away record in League One - no team has lost fewer games or conceded fewer goals.

Peterborough have the twelfth best home record, level with Plymouth. They have won eight league games at home all season, one more than relegated Bradford City. Peterborough have managed to score 27 goals at home in the league, as comparison, we have scored 42.

Not looking like the Coventry game is going to be a dead rubber at the minute

Not really - quite the opposite in fact. Given that Coventry failed to win today (as I predicted) then a win against Accrington makes our final game of the season a dead rubber - which you wrongly inferred was not to be the case.

If we beat Accrington then Coventry can’t catch us..

However our final game may not be a dead rubber for us if Posh are still chasing.!

In reality, a point against Accrington will put Coventry out of the picture. If we lost 3-0 at Oxford and they won 3-0 at home to Shrewsbury, they'd still need to beat us by five on the last day of the season to overtake us.

IDM. Posh won't be able to overtake us come the final match. (There's a hostage to fortune...)

Leaving out the play offs, I think these last three games will define this squad. We've had a great run with 4 wins out of the last 5. Despite that, I think we've played below par, a split second too slow and not penetrating enough. All too often a second or more too slow. I'd like to see us sharpen up, pass and move quicker as we did earlier in the season, and dominate the games like we can.

Do that and the play offs are ours, and promotion within reach.

We're now 1/20 to make the top 6.

Would it be highly unethical to have £20 on Peterborough at 8/1, to slightly ease the pain if the unthinkable does happen?

Nah, waste of time. By tomorrow any fun in that bet will be all but gone. Lump it on us to win the play offs, far more entertaining and profitable.

Well, there's certainly no value to be had among the top four. SportingBet (sic) has all four of them odds on to go up.

I said it’s not looking like. Which it wasn’t when they were 1-0 up.

I had £10 on Portsmouth at 20-1 to be champions in our one horse race so go for it.

That is beginning to look likely.

I'm sure Sheff Utd finished 3rd with 90+ points when Wednesday pipped them a few seasons back

2013/14.

The fifth got 80 in 2015/16, when Barnsley scraped 6th with 74, the same as 7th placed Scunny but with a 3 goal better goal diff, and then won the play offs.

Likely that two teams will get 90 points and miss out this year.
