Todays line up:
-
No fal?
-
I've been reading that for 3 or 4 minutes and still struggling! Where are Senior, Sterry, Faal? Presumably the formation is:
Jones
Nixon Bailey McGrath Rowe
Broadbent Craig Close
Molyneux Ironside Waters
Taylor back on the bench is a surprise as well!
-
Or Sterry and Senior
-
Rowe in defence?
-
With three suddenly missing I am wondering if there is a bug in the camp?
-
Taylor !?!? Didn't see that one coming.

Aka Lazurus.
-
All the best to him,if we couldn't work for that period of time we'd be facked
-
Taylor !?!? Didn't see that one coming.
Aka Lazurus.
I am old enough to remember a really good player with QPR called Lazarus - played in the same team as Rodney Marsh IIRC

Aka Lazurus.

The “remembering”(when old) is certainly praiseworthy as I well know - and I had forgotten him, but now you remind me, yes, I do remember him!

That team pumped us 6-0 at Loftus Road in 1966, DU.
-
It will be interesting to see the formation and how we play.
Is that 7 of the starting line up Mc has brought in?
Most mangers never have that luxury.
Let's hope it works

They ran away with the league that season, and won the League Cup as a tier 3 side and we were relegated (the season John Nicholson was killed in the car crash that also injured Alick) - but I remember us holding them to a deserved draw at Belle Vue :scarf:

The other possibility is Moly at LB and maybe Broadbent higher up
Edit: Comentator confirms Nick's lineup

Anyone got audio feed on iFollow?

At moment only Away.
-
Just started bang on 3pm. Using Radio Sheff' commentary.
-
Penalty shout for Newport turned down
-
This match seems to be taking some time to get going. Stadium sounds quiet, no posts on here. Those of you in the ground - is it really that dull?
-
American ref just called a time out!
-
Yes. We haven’t got going. Lack of movement from us, we are so static.,
-
No zip no movement.
-
We look a bit like we are trying to figure out what's going on. Bit disjointed with 5 changes and three of those being new lads.
-
Should have scored there!!
-
American ref just called a time out!
A bit worried when they got the first corner and he facked off for a hotdogs and bottle of Bud
-
Sounds like we may be warming up a bit
-
No keeper made a save yet?
-
Jones seems to be coming for crosses, 2 good catches.
Moly needs to be careful, booked for kicking the ball away and is getting very frustrated waving his arms around.
Rovers been better last 15 mins
-
Sounds like we may be warming up a bit
Finger tip save from a Moly cut in and left foot curler
-
Definitely sounding better!
-
Point blank save from Ironside 5 yards out sooo close
-
Done ok. Hopefully go through the gears in the second half.
-
Like the look of the 3 new lads
-
From what I've seen of Craig prior to today he looked more of a 6, picking the ball up from the defence and moving it forward, definitely think he'd be better there today and Close further forward.
-
Grew into it a bit. Should be in front.
-
Very low energy from Rovers other than the last ten mins or so.
-
We started out very incoherent but have gradually got a bit of rythm and been very close to scoring. Waters fluid in his movement :) and working his socks off, Conor solid and assured and at first glance will make that position his own, Craig still finding his feet.
-
Grew into the game. Need to learn to up the tempo sometimes. Fairly equal game but we have shaded the possession, terrortory and chances.
New players are a positive.
Wide midfielders a tad sloppy
-
Ground is like a morgue. Again!
-
Newport playing dirty
-
Not exactly a high energy game, nobody seems to be standing out in terms of performance. It will be the first goal that decides sort of game, let's hope.
-
3 changers from them hope they mess them up crowd need to get behind the team
-
Hurst on for Carty, depends which Hurst turns up.
-
Need more cutting edge up front.
Molly looking very frustrated
-

Carty?
-
Thought Billy was our best player- got a great first touch
-
Thought Billy was our best player- got a great first touch
I think he might have shut up some of the Twitter/ Neto brigade after that
-
No shot on target in the second half, this is not looking good.
-
Ironside close! Sounds a good attempt
-
The only 0-0 score in League 2…at the moment!
-
At least Hurst attempted a shot, better than most of the game.

If the stats on the bbc are correct, this was our 10th attempt and the 5th on target.
What point were you trying to make.??
-
8 mins injury time
-
0:1
-
Here we go again
-
Rovers have got everything they deserve today, not enough drive to score, any team can do this to them.
-
This is a new low.
-
0:1
B*****, this means Donnyjim will be coming out of hiding.
-
Think I might log off at full time
-
It's happened again! Undeserved win for the visitors. Regretting those missed chances now!
-
0:1
Tony soprano will be in full voice too
B*****, this means Donnyjim will be coming out of hiding.
-
Been done by a team full of shithousery tactics.
-
McGrath looks a proper defender.. that’s one positive
-
At least it wasn’t 4 nil this time, another positive? God we are useless
-
The only 0-0 score in League 2…at the moment!
If only it was 0-0 at full time, eh? :headbang:
-
At least Hurst attempted a shot, better than most of the game.
With about much puff as a dying man’s final breath
-
Feared the worst with Biggins and Hurst on the left, they crossed unopposed for their winner
