Whether people like to admit it or not.
We are a bottom end league 2 team in a relegation battle. We havr been on the decline for a few years now with poor dull football to boot and poor decisions along the way.
Attendances will plummet until we show that we are marching back up.
Not many people are willing to give up a weekend and £20/£21 for a ticket for what has been served up

Some of our fans are absolute morons. We are having a bad season playing the team at the top of the league. This game is a free hit. The next few are important

Before today, Stockport had only won 3 in their last 9. I don’t agree with what you say our fans are singing, but it’s absolutely pathetic if we as a club call a game against Stockport County “a free hit” and effectively throw the towel in before the game has even begun in earnest.

Hopefully it’ll be 9 or 10, then perhaps after 3 years of awful defending it might dawn on someone with a brain cell that there are certain players who should not wear a Rovers shirt ever again.

Embarrassing all over today. Weak as f… all over the pitch. Defence being bullied left right and centre.

Yes they are a good outfit. But we ought to at least make them get a sweat on. They are beating us at a jogging pace.

Quite a few people left at 3-0 and I didn’t see them come back.

The Benny Hill theme is playing. Apt.

I'm speaking as someone who still firmly believes McCann is the man to sort our club out. I also genuinely believed we could challenge for the playoffs at the start of the season, and even until about 10 games thought we might just sneak into 7th place.

But I am worried.

Well well pick the bones out of that. Absolutely criminal defending from set pieces. Need a performance & changes second half, back to being a team of strangers again.

Wrong team selection for me, Hurst offers nothing, Olowu can't defend, Rowe is not a left back, & the lad from Tottenham totally & utterly out of his depth. We never win our personal battles at set pieces. For the smallest player out there to score a header from the middle of the goal is unacceptable at any level.

If they get a 6th, he should walk this evening or handed his p45.
He's been backed with hundreds of signings and most haven't performed. He's signed 3 strikers and 1 defender when our problems have been in defence.
He had the opportunity to offload Anderson and oluwo this window and bring in fresh blood but wasted it on three loans in attack and an inexperienced midfielder.

We shouldn't be sacking McCann but we should be asking why our defensive unit continues to be so dire. We and in League Two, not the Championship. It really shouldn't been that hard.

I agree.

Was thinking about how Stan Anderson sorted a powder puff defence when he first arrived and how Penney sorted out the goals were conceding from crosses in our first few games in League Two after promotion. We are no closer to solving our defensive issues now that’s we were on day one.

McCann IS a good manager, changing the manager (this time) certainly isn't the solution, the quality of player we have needs addressing and the expectations need to be addressed!! There should be a meet the players evening not a meet the owners but OUR CAPTAIN is an example of someone who is way too precious, how dare the fans criticize him? f**k it...cup my ears and troll the fans.

23 minutes since they last scored…I’m feeling a bit happier now!

I think Jones is improving and Lawlor has been better than I remembered, but not signing a serious League Two keeper was obviously a mistake. Wood might have helped if he had been fit but again, we've pissed around at the edge trying to be serious in our central defence and ended up playing Bailey there or changing entire formation to try and make a 3 work. If we had been serious and signed two proper League Two central defenders, we wouldn't be pissing around like this. The whole unit is busted and all of our current central defenders surely cannot be part of the future.

We have two genuinely very good footballing full backs in Sterry and Maxwell (Senior and Nixon perfectly capable too). We just needed two proper league two CBs between them to do the basics, and a competent defensive midfielder sat in front of them. Despite the obvious deficiencies, we still haven't sorted out either of those areas of the pitch.

Robbie's heart is not in it any more - he's depressed - for the most part all he is doing is telling us who's got the ball. Can't blame him really.

Wood and Long are out of contract this summer and presumably leave. Olowu and Anderson still are contracted for next season. Faulkner out of contract this summer but will presumably be offered something. Jones and Lawlor both contracted next season. McGrath for another 2 seasons.

If we view Faulkner and McGrath as works in progress, if we can move on Olowu and Anderson, and sign 2 serious senior centre backs, then those 4 would be a good group next season. Who those would be, I have no idea but we need a totally new start. Equally you could move on one of Jones or Lawlor and have the remaining one fight it out with a serious keeper.

Colchester still 1 up at Morecambe and Morecambe missed a penalty at the start of the 2nd half but seem to be under pressure from Colchester.

So utterly depressing and frustrating all this is. Only bright spot has been the -ifollow commentary. Robby has been is usual efficient and informative self -- but who is the co-commentator? I heard Robbie call him "Alex" in one conversation. Alex is doing a great job.

The defence didn’t improve at all under Stan Anderson!
