West Ham v Rovers
« on January 23, 2021, 12:17:05 pm by RoversAlias »
Big one today then!

ITEN FA Cup Preview: https://www.intotheemptynet.com/post/opportunity-knocks-west-ham-doncaster-rovers-fa-cup

Don't read anything into me leaving Richards out of the Likely Line-up by the way, a complete oversight on my part!

Hope we're all looking forward to this game. Can we pull a surprise out of the hat though?

Not confident with that line up, though we haven’ got many options

Shame for Richards but a decent option from the bench at least. I’m guessing having Halliday and James in midfield is intended to make us a bit harder to break down.

7 changes to the West Ham team from their last PL game. There’s an awful lot of flair in their front 4 which means we’ll either be chasing shadows if they click or they’ll not be arsed.

We would have been going into the stadium around this time.

It still isn’t such a bad West Ham line up though Nick is it.

Looks a strange team selection but I have said that before and DM has proved me wrong.Fingers crossed.

Not at all, but I’d definitely rather be facing them without their first choice full backs, Antonio, Rice & Bowen.

For this match with injuries don’t understand why Richards is not starting but DM as gone with the back four and two in front that beat Blackburn. With JJ injured then Okenabirhie up front, Taylor and choice between Smith and Richards also choice between Lokilo and Simoes.

How does it compare to the team that played Stockport?

So 4 centre halves across the defence and 2 full backs in midfield. .
Worked ok at Blackburn.

Also surprised but not surprised in a way re Richards. I think it's damage limitation with half a chance of catching them on the break.

Anything can happen. It's a game of football, they could get someone sent off etc.

Don’t like the idea of joe at right back especially with fast tricky wingers running at him would of had Richards in for him and have Brad at right back but we will see if darron as got it right

Richards was subbed the last few games I believe, and now on the bench.  I hope our most creative player currently hasn't had a bit of a tiff with DM?
