TLO Birmingham v Wigan
« on April 28, 2014, 10:45:59 pm by mrfrostsdad »
Well, let's face it: at this moment in time, it's the most important game until Saturday. If Brum pick up points, we're Donald Ducked.

May as well have a thread so people can comment on it???

I briefly toyed with catching the train up from Solihull to St Andrews tonight but didnt fancy the journey back home. This is Bordesley station entrance, probably the most daunting and spooky in the UK. Imagine walking in here tonight with a big grin on your face to meet some less than happy Blues fans!!!

I went via Bordesley in 2011 when we (unluckily) lost there and had to share a platform with some very happy Bluenoses after the game.

This season I drove there and found there's a very large car park just before you get to the ground. Easy to get in and out. Though however the next few days go I don't think we'll be playing there next season.

I am there. Just having a snack at the nearby morrisons cafe, about to go in, the away end obviously.

Been on a business trip and was not too far away from Brum. At ten quid a ticket I couldn't resist. Shame our game at Leicester is full price....

Referee is Mr Andy Woolmer, better known as the clown who refereed our opening game of the season. By co-incidence he is the 4th official at Leicester this Sat.

Good news! If he has any sense he'll make sure Brum lose thus making out match the one to watch on Saturday and getting him some cool screen time.

I'm passing a brick here.  I think I'm more tightly wound for this than any Rovers game I can recall.

Can we be greedy and ask for another 15 or 16 goals from Wigan? :)

Wigan seeing 61% of possession according to the BBC.

West Midlands commentary is on Five Live Sports Extra.

They are suggesting they need to get Zigic on and go route one.

Apart from one decent save by Carson, Brum have had little sight of goal. Wigan looking dangerous but need the second goal.
