I reckon the sticking point was that we initially offered a two year deal & JM wanted a three year deal. Could be totally wrong but hey it doesnt matter now he's signed.

I thought it was a nice touch of ironic humour' in the announcement video that he opened his had to reveal 'The Pen'.
Good result. Protects us. He though like rest of them should be sending a written apology to each and every Rovers fan following the dirge crapped out in the final five games of the season. Risible. Needs to step up this season.

Players contracts are much more complicated than that.I've been told from somebody that I do trust a lot. They wouldn't lie. He told me last week the sticking point is the contract length. We offered two, he wanted three.Tell me that isn't right SM?Doesn't really matter now anyhow, main thing is that he is signed and ready for the new season ahead.
