Hearing good things if he is cheap enough or I should say fits in with the wage structure then if Ferguson thinks he is worth a shot then sign him up

Tunisian. Just like Dino Maamria.

Looked very bright. Long time since I saw a rovers player doing double step overs while dribbling into the box.

Tunisian. Just like Dino Maamria.

he was released by L'orient (that's 2 orients relegated) who got relegated from the top French division on the final day needed one goal in the last minute to stay up - presumably (hopefully) due to their relegation --  they let him go

He is absolute quality! Found space where there wasnt any, passed the ball at the right times, went past players with ease. Everything Middleton is not.
We have got to sig him up!!

WAP for me, lively with the ball - could be just what we need to replace Copps.

I'll kidnap him if Fergie ends up letting him go.

Good with the ball, brilliant one touch passing. Good crosser. Left footed.

He's so dreamy.

Very good technically but out midfield only has experience in Copps and Rowe others are 20/21 including the French boy . We may need another experienced player in there. To supplement all the young and potential players.

Not been any of the friendlies but from what I've read the lad definetly seems worth a punt.
I think Ferguson will offer him a deal this week now, probably sign a 2 year deal.

In the first half the midfield was virtually non existent with Marquis and May having to come deep and help out.

Second half was different gravy. It's a case of finding the right blend. The French lad looks progressive and on the save wavelength as Copps but he's no enforcer.

Mason looked good in each position he played and is a safe pair of hands.

Agree on Mason. Good player. If Houghton/A.N.Other comes in as a holding midfield, Mason at CB in a 2 or a 3 for me is a great choice. Ball playing and looked really assured tonight.

He's growing into a very good footballer and don't forget last season was his first ever in first team professional football. Looks the part and looked very much like one of the senior players.

Again, it's only a friendly but point stands!

Dave if that's based at me I'm not saying don't sign him, I'm saying we need another experienced player aswell.

I haven't seen the lad play so cant comment on him individually, but there is definetly such thing as being too lightweight and being shoved off the ball too easily.

I dont recall him being knocked off the ball once tonight. In fact he made a couple of great tackles which ended in him taking the ball & starting a move.

Lovely technical skill, always wanted to get into the box, I liked him but it is only one game. If he impresses in training I'm sure Fergie will snap him up.

We need good technical players like this guy instead of Middleton esque players. He was class tonight.

Anyone know what Sammy thinks?

Difficult to be certain until Sammy has ran the rule on him.

Ferguson said he liked what he'd seen at Tadcaster and would run the rule over him again today.
Another good performance tonight must stand him in with a very good chance.

I think some folk are getting a bit carried away. He did well but I'm not sure where he'd fit in to the Fergie system. Very similar to players we already have. Maybe one for the long term but I've a feeling he'll be looking for regular matches rather than a spot on the bench

It was a good work out for everyone,I thought that both teams played well, probably the second half team being the stronger in midfield in the second half.
Mason played well all the game, and  you have got to give Alfie and Marquis ten out of ten for effort while living off scraps.
Roe and Copps were the pick of the bunch,I count myself lucky to have seen Copps play, the Derby players will not come up against anyone this season with more skill than him.

Fair assessment. We have to remember that it was a friendly and players with very high technical ability like Copps will stand out in a slower tempo, les physical game. Some of the play in the second half looked very positive though.

'' safe pair of hands''  - Is he a new 'keeper   :woot:
