Worst game so far , players very much holding it back . Poor passing and very little to excite , it was very much a practise match for the sake of it and not for the fans or on lookers. Nothing stood out as worthy of the journey . Not sure who we're the Rovers trialist( midfield first half and centre back second half) both look ok but Gueiseley weren't much to shout about and didn't really test Rovers . 5/10

Quite enjoyed it to be honest. Stood by the dug outs close to the pitch, bitching at the Guiseley players, plus its a local game for me. The young lad who played at centre half for the last 30 minutes or so isn't a trialist but Reece Fielding, an acadamy lad who played a couple of CheckaTrade games last season.

There were two trialists. Charlie Harris who played in the first half, playing the holding role. The second one was Issam Ben Khemis, who featured at Tadcaster and v Derby, who played the full game.

Why didn't you go through from the cricket club side?
I'm sure that they'd have let you through and then through the bar to the football side.
A poor game to watch although Tyler Garret looked good and full of energy.
The only plus side for me, home in 15 minutes and Black Sheep and Saltaire Blonde on draught.

I never look into pre-season seriously. It is about being ready for the opening day. Often they are played at walking pace with plenty of substitutions. I don't get carried away when we win or lose. I remember pre-season two-years ago when we played excellently against everyone in pre-season, then we got relegated. Means nothing.
