This could be our lowest away attendance for a long time, sad for those who used to never miss a game, times have changed no matter what people say.
Good live coverage by the media and payment to your own club looks to be the future.

I'm going, I never miss a game (pandemics excepted). Maybe sad at the final whistle though...hopefully not.

That’s two posts to my knowledge that you ‘mention’ never missing a game (pandemics excepted) NigelJ. Well done to you however…

Are you married, do you have children, do you work shifts, do you have a disability, are you a carer, do you have to manage your pennies I could go on? I could go on.

‘We’ might all be there if circumstances allowed.

Why not be a little more humble & take a leaf out of Lincoln Rover’s thoughts where he says very profoundly ‘We walk by faith & not by sight’ & he’ll be there tonight.

Funny how we all read semantics differently. I didn't see any lack of humility in any of NigelJ's posts; just enthusiasm for supporting Rovers as much as he possibly can.

Which we all do, and I'm sure he doesn't think any less of us because we can't get to as many games as him.

Is anyone actually going to this? 27 quid and all the covid crap?

It’s funny (well not really) that when we weren’t allowed in the grounds everyone stated how the fan was so important to the game yet we get the likes of Ipswich overcharging for a game I League one to support spending on players that most Championship clubs can only dream of, disgusting doesn’t do it justice and whilst this behaviour is condoned by those at the top football will never learn a lesson

No cohesion or confidence. No fluent flow... and powder puff in the final third. These are indeed worrying times - and already 6 points adrift at the bottom of the table.

This has been awful. Got to start questioning Wellens signings. Close, Smith, gardener, Williams, Cukur etc all look poor

This is the worst team since the conference years. Lack of investment full stop.

agree with this. Who the hell sanctioned these signings? This is the first match I’ve seen this season and I’m genuinely staggered by the poor quality. Can add Hiwula to that list too.

Disagree on Close, he's been our best player this season minus today.

You should remember though that when Close and Williams were signed quite a few posters were highly delighted and saying that they were great additions.

I just can’t see a win coming ! Mick Mills doing the Ipswich commentary has has just said he can’t work out if Ipswich are good or Doncaster are that bad ! Then he’s just finished the first half with a no contest statement ! I’m sorry to say folks I think we’re doomed ! What is Richie thinking ?

All usual suspects out on the site tonight.

Not one of you posted when we beat Morecambe.

Quite pathetic you just absolutely love it when we are losing or lose.
Supporters give me a break.

We may as well be playing with 10 men or even 9 as Tukur and Hiwula have offered sweet FA !

Having got that rant said we are seriously missing Galbraith in midfield.

Ben Close is not happy playing the holding midfield role.

We need Tommy Rowe in midfield and play Horton at left back as we have no control.
The front players are not keeping the ball at all.

Thought we were doing ok against an Ipswich team lacking confidence and then we hand them a goal on a plate with a shocking pass.
Given them the filip they needed and the crowd are now right behind them.

This is going to be a tough 2nd half.

First game for me too.
I didn't expect us to win. I didn't expect us to be great, but I'm shocked and stunned by how bad we have been first half.
Still "game of two halves" so they say........ :scarf:

The omnipresent sense of doom, on and off the pitch is palpable.

The half time stats don’t make for good reading. We’ve been awful, no two ways about it. Just can’t see where second half improvement is coming from. We don’t look capable of shooting and hitting the corner flag, never mind scoring.
