Thrown his hat into the ring for the Barrow job.
Love Rob but not sure if he's the right appointment for Barrow as i'd quite like them to stay up this season & not too sure if he's got the experience etc for it.
We'll see!
-
Think he would be a brilliant assistant to someone while he gains a bit more experience
-
He has the personality and the playing experience to be a success, he obviously has the coaching badges, he just needs a bit of luck and a chairman and board that believe in him and the luck to get a good set of players at the level they play at.
I think he would be a good fit, will know something of the area, and the non league scene in the north of England which they feed off.
I don't see many established managers fancying what is an outpost as far as travel is concerned, and he deserves a chance to prove what he can do.

Have to say I agree with every word there Selby. I think he'd be a good fit for Barrow.
-
You would think he should make them hard to beat, which is the first thing you want after a promotion.

Good points!
I'd love for him to do well there.

I hope if he gets it I hope he’s a success.
The one thing he has in abundance is enthusiasm and commitment
-
Would be a great job for him. Hope he gets it and wish him every success.
Best captain we have had at Rovers in my time. Proper leader both on & off the pitch.
One of the old school captains of the modern era. There are not many of those around any more.
-
I used to love watching him defending corners. He constantly shouted at and encouraged everyone around him. He was also willing to give others a proper bxxxocking if they needed it
-
Former Blackburn midfielder David Dunn is getting the job apparently.

From the Barrow fans’ forum, https://www.barrowafc.com/david-dunn-joins-barrow-afc/,
“Some are pleased to see a Dunn deal and say 'Well Dunn' to the board, a few Dunno and the inevitable few think we are Dunn for but all must be pleased it's Dunn 'n' dusted and wish him all the best of success.”
Welcome back, Barrow, it’s been a long time!
