How he stayed on instead of AW (especially on a booking) il never know.

He was awful.

Don't agree at all with the d**kheads cheering him completing a pass and getting substituted.

He basically got us promoted last season and deserves better.

Ironic how we tried to bin Williams pre season league 2, and now he's a starter.

Seems untouchable, a shadow of the player from last season

Williams has gone altogether, it's like playing with 10 men.
Marquis was crap but always likely to score. Marquis would've scored the 2 chances Williams had

No he wouldn't. Marquis has missed plenty similar to the second half Williams chance so how can you say that?

He might not have got in position to do so though. Williams did.

Neither had their best games. Marquis didn't deserve the sarcastic applause and booing. Williams doesn't deserve this vilification either.

Williams got a raw deal today with that first half hoofball, then taken off when we started to pass quicly to feet

I don't recall marquis ever missing the target like that when clean through. And the chance he missed in the first half, John Ryan would've reacted quicker

Your changing your argument. First it was "Marquis would have scored it". Now Your suggesting he wouldn't have missed the target like that?

Of course it's not difficult. Marquis has missed chances like that. So assuming he would've scored is a bit of a guess. It's simple actually.

He's also scored many goals like that so assuming he wouldn't is a bit of a guess.

Very simple

Anyhow the closest we came to scoring was marquis, he's the only one scoring this season even though he's out of form.

Short memory , in the last home game Marquis was gifted a free shot at goal and managed to hit it straight at the Keeper.

Thought he had another poor game, somewhat surprised when DF brought off Williams first.

Marquis hardly looked like scoring at all, so an odd comment Dickos, and I'm often finding myself agreeing with what you say. He went close once but other than that time, did he even have the ball in the penalty box once? A shadow of the man we loved last season.

Can't get much closer to scoring

I don't think either striker are at their best receiving the ball with their backs to goal and having to create chances . I believe their strength is attacking the ball in the box  which is where we are lacking at the moment. We have no width, no one turning the defence around , nothing coming in for the attackers to run on to. All our play looks pretty,  in front of the opposing team but there is no penetration, no space creation and making the strikers look ordinary. My opinion

Says it all when we end the game with a striker plucked from non-league & one brought through the ranks, our frailties are plain to see all over the pitch. Looking at this league now, we haven't brought in enough quality during the summer in several positions to compete.

Which I acknowledged, but as I already said, that one moment aside did he even touch the ball in the penalty box? It's a fair question.

You are  joking he should have gone in the summer but his wages stopped that happening. John is not playing well but he still better than Williams

No because he's trying to do what the midfield should. If I was him I'd stop around the box and let the pathetic midfield do their work.
