Title: Bournmouth and Tranmere

Have they shot their bolts?

I have it on good authority that Bournemouth were appalling today. I live in Bournemouth and I would love 'em to do well, just as long as they are behind us at the end of the season.  :scarf:

Did they have their Ladies Team (on SoccerAM this morning) turn out for them?

I think they might have played better if they had. Disjointed and looked like a "team" of individuals. Brother-out-law said the 3 points were ours next weekend.  :scarf:

I'm sure it won't be as easy as that, but he said it was one of the worst displays he's seen.

4 isn't it Rob?

Yep it's four now, and it means I can walk into my local again with a smile tonight/tomorrow. I was getting a bit of ribbing from some of the locals, but Eddie Howe's no mug. I doubt this is more than a wee blip and they'll be ready for us on Saturday. But let's have 'em, especially as it makes my supping a lot more enjoyable/peaceful.  :boxing:

WIlts, you are right.  I'd forgotten Preston beat them.

1 goal scored and 8 shipped in 4 games.  That's shocking after the run they were on.

And they have played one more game than us. However, and this was looked at in conversation with Cherries fans in the pub, I fancy their run of games more than I fancy ours, last game notwithstanding.

Simon, our run in doesnt worry me.  I'd rather our players had something to fight for than just turn up at games and think they "should" win.

Best time to play Bournemouth for sure, maybe it's just meant to be! We've got nothing to fear, Yeovil and Hartlepool were both in incredible form and we battered them both. More than capable of getting 6 points from these next 2 games.

Rob, I'm not worried by the games we have compared to theirs. We just need to play - and beat - as many (all) of them as possible. Sounds to me like we have the team (and spirit) to do that now. That's what champions do.  :scarf:

All I was saying was that their games left *look* easier. Admittedly, it appears that they are throwing it away at the moment.

Sorry folks, but my gang of "not seen us win in 3 years" will be at Bournemouth :cold:  Last trip of the season for us though so don't worry too much.

A hell of a win for Swindon today, coming from 0-1 down at Coventry with 4 minutes to go.

I was hoping for a draw there. And I don't like the look of their goal difference.

Actually you could imagine goal difference generally being very important this season, with things so tight at the top. We didn't do ours any harm today.

Bournemouth and Tranmere?

Have they shot their bolts?

Like we had in the four games up until the last two games? Hmm - I'm not sure Filo - I think Bournemouth will probably come again, but Tranmere have probably gone!

I just hope our blip has well and truly ended! I think (fingers crossed it probably has!)

Think Bournemouth had a premature congratulation when they went top. :coat:

Still early days Filo , please ask me in 6 games time. It's still too close to call for all the teams yet.

There seems to be an issue at Bournemouth regarding David James. He's been benched recently, apparently because if he plays one more game they will have to give him a contract for next season. Let's hope the problem isn't resolved before Saturday!

People thought i was deluded predicting us to beat Bournemouth away a few weeks ago,Coventry did them,Sheff utd as well,i think we've got a good chance of beating them, though i do think it's just their blip at the moment, they couldn't keep winning week after week, they will be up their at the end, hopefully with us.

I Was deluded i in fact predicted Bournemouth to beat us ,changing my mind away win :boxing:

Three of their back five injured. Pretty certain James issue won't be resolved; he went to Iceland this week (I believe) to train with a club over there.

In the frozen chips aisle?

"Train with a club" is a euphemism for doing something unspeakable to Kerry Katona I believe. Now that would be a Calamity, James.

Bournemouth: after their "premature congratulation" I'm sure they'll come again.

Frozen chips aisle - that's very good. Very good indeed.  :aok:

Kerry Katona.  :suicide:

Story about James, thus: http://ow.ly/ifWKT (http://ow.ly/ifWKT)

Mightily enjoyed  my brief spell in the pub down here last night. Spoke to a few Cherries fans who are very worried about Saturday, as they know that it'll almost certainly be game over for automatic promotion should they lose.
