Over the years have searched for action pics of any games on the Intake -- and only found one. It was published in the Doncaster Gazette in 1909 of a Midland League game with Mexborough Town, and we copied from the Doncaster Library microfilm and published it in Tony Bluff's 1994 "Donny" book (page 107) -- but none surprisingly have been unearthed from any of the 51 D2 games played on the Intake -- but I recently found the attached. Three pics of Rovers playing at Woolwich Arsenal's Manor Ground, at Plumstead, on November 30, 1901. They were featured in a magazine entitled "Black and White Budget" which was published from 1899 to 1905. The Rovers are in the striped shirts. Click on the pic for a better view.
