Very weak bench, let’s hope they aren’t needed

Awful bench. Hopefully we won’t need it. Disappointed not to see Oluwu in for Williams but hoping he’ll prove me wrong.

Hope Taylor hasn’t injured himself
His foot swelled up after the game on Saturday.

It must be the weather.... Grey and nasty. My level of optimism and anticipation has collapsed. Defcon 0 sadly.

Why have we only got 6 on the bench

Because we have two players (passengers?) who RW refuses to play....

Galbraith in for Vilca is an absolutely massive improvement!

I’m feeling the same, bracing myself for more disappointment. But would so love to be wrong!

And Vilca isn't even on the bench.

"Awful bench" then hoping one of them is on the pitch. Not very logical.

I guess Vilca must be injured as well?

It would be nice to get to 15 minutes without conceding..... and build on that.

So you consider a bench of 6 with barely any senior appearances between them and not a single one that anyone of sane mind would consider a potential game changer anything other than awful?

I don’t really know if Olowu is any good but I do know that Williams has been worse than awful for us so far this season.

Is that the same Williams who’s just shown “fantastic commitment”, or is there another on the pitch.?

He did, he made a good block. Not sure how that in any way makes a difference to his performances so far this season, mind…

Not a bad start so far, hopefully we can keep it going.

We are competing.

That’s all I ever want, regardless of our squad, the opponents, or the league we are in..
