Not saying he did.  But everybody on here are looking for excuses for the sending off and loss of a 2 goal lead and the lino texting during the match.  Just thought I would throw it in for discussion.
I didn't go to university but ha ho we all have a cross to bear.

I think that linesman needs to go back to uni to learn how to do his weekend job.  There was a point in the 1st half where United were given a corner despite it being played against the united player and going out for a goal kick.  I was in the south stand nearest the east South corner and could see that.

I believe he comes from County Durham and is therefore more likely to be a Sunderland fan than a Blunt.

He wasn't good, but I have to say I've seen worse this season. I think Saunders was basically right about the ref. He wasn't experienced enough for such a big game and when it started getting tasty he lost the plot. Until the last 15 minutes or so I didn't have too many issues with him- except for his failure to caution the 32 for persistent infringement.
