No news about the reason for his absence as far as I can see.

This will be interesting to see how we play without him, as he normally sees plenty of the ball and gives the opposition plenty to think about. He's normally decent covering back when he needs to.

A great chance for Hurst then to step up after his decent cameos in recent games.

There's good back up from the bench with Westbrook back and Mad Max ready to pounce.

I hope conditions allow us to get the ball down and play, otherwise it becomes a bit of a lottery.

I don't think that would work if Max is slow (i don't know if he is but he has been likened to Joe, who is slow) so it might not be a good idea to have both Max and Joe on the pitch together.

Grant said Max is pretty quick but he is definitely not a wide player

From DFP

Walsall got a cross in down the left and Gordon ghosted in to nod home a powerful header that gave TLT no chance.

Rovers incapable of moving it out beyond the back 4 without losing the ball, we are in trouble here.

This ref’s letting some late challenges go unpunished. Bad one on Craig early doors then one of our lads got cleaned out on the far side after the ball had gone.

Long way to go.

They seem to be dictating the game at the moment. We have not had a shot yet.
