I think you are wrong there Bob in that I seem to remember Wimbledon had a pretty decent record for a while before they got into the League, maybe 2-3k, and agin they only averaged around 10-12k when they were in the top tier, so thats only a rise of 5-6%. Rovers were in the hundreds in Richardson's time, there were quite a few matches where the away support outnumbered home fans, it has to be a rise of 10-12% easy. The other clubs you mentioned average what, 25-30k now, no way were their crowds down to 2-3k during their lean years.I would say if any club matches our record it would be Wigan, they always had poor attendences, I reckon they must have gone up 10%?

There's a bit of a flaw in your spreadsheet: the % increase should be the 'difference' divided by the initial attendance. Apply that, and the % increase between 1998 and 2008 for Rovers was higher than the the later one you show.
