American ref. Has only been in the UK since November apparently. American officials are absolutely shite. I watch San Diego Wave every game and the officiating is abysmal. Truly.

That’s a brilliant clip proving without doubt that the defender deliberately stuck his leg out to stop him. A terrible decision from the ref as even in real time from the highlights angle it looked obvious.

Everyone in that disgrace of an away end could see it was a clear penalty in real time. He was about to slot it in from six yards, no reason to go down whatsoever. Terrible refereeing but fortunately only cost us a record breaking run of wins rather than affecting our final league position.

We were cheated yesterday. Simple as that. The clown didn’t even hesitate, just waved play on. Yes we could have missed the penalty and yes they could have equalised, but largely this absolute clown robbed us of a day yesterday that would have set a near 150 year record for our club.

So this incompetent official did not only get the original decision wrong, in effect he should have also booked Maxwell for "simulation"

It just really grates that these useless officials get assessed by their peers with "nothing to see here" usually the only comment.

How does this raise standards when officials at this level rarely get outed for being useless.

In another situation that outragouse decision could have cost us a place in the play-offs. If we had lost that game and all those around us had won we could have ended up in 8th place. Thats how seriouse it could have been lucky for us it wasn't.

Debatable.. in fact had we lost we would have finished 7th anyway.  Should the other results have been different and we finished 8th, surely our (crap) form over the first 29 fixtures outweighs one dodgy refereeing decision.?

Disgraceful that he didn’t give the pen.
Anywhere else on the pitch he would give a free kick for a foul. (IMO of course).

Absolutely clear as day, fully cheated. The ref is either monumentally inept or irredeemably corrupt, or both. Beyond terrible officiating.
